As a part of the integral part of the adolescent and early adult mental healthcare, our approach encompasses both evidence-based medication interventions and a holistic management strategy.

Meet Your Provider:

Yetunde Fadeyibi (APRNP, PMHNP-BC) is a licensed advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRNP) , and nationally Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)).

I am passionate and empathetic towards the adolescent and young adulthood population . I understand that this stage is a crucial formative stage due to ongoing brain development, identity formation and social integration. I am here to guide you through this transitional period. This can be through medication routes, or through building skills and resilience needed to face life’s challenges.

My philosophy is to create a safe and non-judgmental environment, where you can openly discuss your concerns. I strongly believe in developing a positive therapeutic relationship with my clients. This is very important to me, and it is my hope that clients feel comfortable sharing their story.

I have worked with a broad range of clients with diagnoses that include depression, ADHD, anxiety, mood disorder , psychosis, PTSD, This is not an exhaustive list, as most patients possess a unique combination of symptoms and concerns.

I am a constant avid learner and follow through various conferences with evidenced based practices to better understand new developments and approaching mental health with informed decisions in pharmacology and holistic treatment approach. 

Approach to Care

A Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is an advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with Specialized Training in Psychiatry and Mental Health.

A PMHNP receives a graduate education and clinical training in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of Psychiatric and Mental Health Disorders.
A PMHNP works Independently and Collaboratively With Other Health Professionals.

A PMHNP provides a full range of Psychiatric and Mental Health Services. This Includes, but not limited to, diagnosing psychiatric and mental health disorders, prescribing medications to treat Psychiatric and Mental Health disorders, and providing Psychotherapy and patient education.

At ShowPathWay Mental and Wellness, there is an emphasis on your entire being as a  person.
We view you as an entire Person and an integral part of your treatment, not Just a condition or disorder.
We are aware that all choices and experiences in life can affect the  mental health of an individual  and we believe that treatment planning must address more than just medication.
Together, we will develop a treatment plan that will work best for You.
We encourage many of our patients to seek therapy . Referrals can be made if needed.
We are willing to work closely with other health professionals to coordinate care so that you may achieve a progressive optimum outcome.

A Wide-range of Psychiatric and Mental Health Conditions are treated , which includes anxiety, depression, mood disorders, Ptsd , psychosis, schizophrenia, ADHD, and schizoaffective Disorder.

 

ADHD :  At this time, We are only able to treat ADHD patients with non- stimulant medication.

However, we are able to collaborate with your Primary care provider to manage stimulant for ADHD.

Yes!  We can prescribe most psychiatric medication.

However, even though it is recommend or authorized to prescribe controlled substances.  At this time, our practice refrains from prescribing medication in the class of Stimulants, Muscle relaxant or Benzodiazepines  due to state/federal regulations about controlled substances in relative to tele-health.  Hence, we recommend a PCP or pediatrician or an established psychiatrist do so.
This may change once we start seeing patient at an onsite location. 


We also recognize the potential risk for physiological dependence with certain  medications. Therefore, as a matter of ethical practice, We do not Prescribe these Medications at This Time.

In States,  where, Nurse Practitioners are required to have a delegation agreement with a Physician. We have such an Agreement in place with a Psychiatrist Whom we meet with to review cases.

Yes! Cash is accepted if you do not have insurance.

Largest expenses occur during the first 3 Months of Treatment.
During that time, medications will be adjusted based on your diagnosis and treatment plan. Generally, you will need an Office Visit every 2-3 Weeks  to ensure that the treatment is working and to rule out side / adverse effect .
Once medications are stabilized, your visits will be spaced out.
Eventually, you will only need quarterly visits for follow ups on how you are doing and medication Refills.
